The MAI leadership had a meeting with representatives of the Public Association of Veterans and Pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Adrian Efros, had a meeting with representatives of the Public Association of Veterans and Pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the meeting, the report of the activity of the Association of Veterans and Pensioners of the Ministry of Interior in the last months, the results achieved in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and its subdivisions, as well as the initiatives for the future were presented.

The Minister of Internal Affairs thanked the veterans for the contribution they make to maintaining a climate of stability in the social environment and for their efforts for the good of the country and its citizens. Adrian Efros assured that he is open to strengthen the cooperation with veterans and to support them in the future.

“You are encyclopaedias and living histories of the Republic of Moldova. We hope that by relaunching the project “Living History of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. War on the Dniester” to be as close as possible to the civil society, so that people know your valuable involvement, which we appreciate”, said Adrian Efros.

As a token of gratitude for their conscientious attitude towards the performance of their duties, results achieved in their work and professionalism, the Minister of Interior Affairs awarded special ranks to 10 veterans.

In turn, the veterans noted that it is the mission of the seniors to pass on to the younger generation the values for which they fought in order to have a free country.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Association of MAI Veterans and Pensioners, Alexei Armaș, expressed his gratitude for the trust and support given by the MAI leadership and urged those present to be united in order to achieve together as many beautiful projects as possible.

It should be noted that MAI has more than 13 thousand veterans and pensioners throughout the country.
