The Cabinet of Ministers today approved the draft law on the release of material goods from state reserves for international humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, drafted under the provision of the Commission for Exceptional Situations No. 73/2023.
The international assistance comes in response to the disasters caused by the destruction of the Nova Kahovka dam on the Dnieper Rive
The granting of aid by releasing material goods (food products) from state reserves is a gesture of support from the Republic of Moldova to the population of the neighbouring state affected by the unjustified aggression of the Russian Federation.
Please note that for the implementation of the project, according to the procedures, the Ministry of Finance will allocate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs the necessary financial means to replenish the stocks of state reserves.
