Stamate: Dragalin should be the first to undergo the evaluation procedure of prosecutors

MP Olesya Stamate, former chairman of the legal commission on appointments and immunity in parliament, argues that the head of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Veronica Dragalin, should be the first in the department to undergo verification.

“Mistress Dragalina must first pass a background check. This is evidenced by the list approved by the Supreme Council of Prosecutors. I don’t know if she will pass the assessment or not.

As for prosecutors, I don’t know how many will leave, but I assume that many will leave the system before the procedure begins,” the PAS deputy said, writes unimedia.info

On May 23, the Supreme Council of Prosecutors published a list of 67 anti-corruption prosecutors who will have to undergo an external assessment procedure by the Certification Commission. The list is headed by the head of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (AP) Veronica Dragalin.
