#STRONGER in the face of challenges posed by hybrid threats
Between October 24 and 27, 2023, the Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted a large-scale event “Challenges of hybrid threats”, carried out under the auspices of the TOPCOP project (Training and Operational Partnership to Combat Organized Crime in the Eastern Partnership region), CEPOL.
The workshop brought together management level representatives from the National Police of Ukraine, leaders from the internal affairs system of the Republic of Moldova, as well as guests from the Intelligence and Security Service and the General Prosecutor’s Office.
The general objective of the activity focused on correlating the development of a conceptual model of national resilience to hybrid threats, based on the promotion of security culture. At the same time, the discussions focused on the current needs for knowledge reset, experience exchange and knowledge transfer between participants and EU experts, based on the need to increase security along state borders, but also strengthening cooperation between the heads of institutions Specialized.
The activity contributed to a better understanding of the concepts that are used, in the context of the regional crisis – hybrid threats, national resilience and security culture, but also of the elements of interdependence that result from their intersection.
