Olesya Stamate: There is a lot of television justice in Moldova
MP from the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) Olesya Stamate believes that there is too much television justice in Moldova.
“We have a lot of television justice, and the perception of justice reform and the fight against corruption is obviously influenced by what and how is discussed and presented in the public space. It is good that the anti-corruption indicator shows a better result for Moldova in 2023, but I would not take this indicator as a basis for assessing success in the fight against corruption and justice reform,” said Olesya Stamate on the air of the program “7 days with Rodika Kravchenko,” noi.md reports.
The deputy, who recently resigned as chairman of the parliamentary Commission on Law, Appointments and Immunity, also noted that this indicator is very important for the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (AP), since it must undergo an audit in the near future.
