Discussion and analysis on the development of cyber security and resilience of the national critical infrastructure
On Friday, October 27, 2023, in the discussion panel on the topic of “Romania’s Assistance Project for strengthening the capacities of the Republic of Moldova in the field of cyber security and resilience of critical infrastructure”, the Deputy General Secretary of the MAI Vladislav Cojuhari participated with a contribution.
Mr. Cojuhari mentioned the need for the equal involvement of all actors with authorisation, inventory, management, reporting, prevention and control attributions, in order to develop the national critical infrastructure.
It was reiterated that the need to harmonize legislation and reset the priorities of state institutions according to emerging needs is constantly felt, but with the help of development partners and their experience, it is attested how the necessary changes are gradually implemented.
Legislative clarity, consistency in implementation, joint exercises and constant evaluation of processes to identify risks and threats have proven to be effective measures in developing national capabilities in the field of cyber security and resilience of critical infrastructure.
“MAI focuses on studying digital solutions and technical and security conditions that allow easy management of the documents and flows necessary to implement the provisions of the normative acts.” – announced the Deputy General Secretary, Vladislav Cojuhari. The official also wanted to thank for the support, availability and trust given by colleagues from Romania who will be involved in this regard.
