Programme for preventing and combating trafficking in human beings for 2024-2028 approved by the Government
The Cabinet of Ministers approved, at the initiative of the Ministry of Interior, the Programme for Preventing and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings for the years 2024-2028.
The aim of the project is to ensure the continuity of the national policy on trafficking in human beings and to strengthen efforts to achieve the results set out in the National Strategy for Preventing and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings for 2018-2023.
The programme derives from the provisions of international law documents in the field of anti-trafficking, to which the Republic of Moldova has acceded. It ensures the implementation of the latest Recommendations of the Universal Periodic Review Mechanism in this field.
