Counterfeit goods sent to Moldova: What cargo was found in the port of Constanta by lawmen?

Counterfeit Chinese-made toys, clothes and shoes worth almost 4 million lei were found in four containers in the port of Constanta. The goods were imported by companies from Romania, Moldova and Ukraine, rupor.md reports in an article dated 13.012023.

It is mentioned that all the units were manufactured under well-known brand names. The suppliers were not licensed to produce them.

During a further inspection of the containers, law enforcement officers found 5,400 hats, 2,600 pairs of socks and 1,200 pairs of shoes.

Law enforcement officers are conducting checks and determining which stores and companies may have sent the goods under similar trademarks.
