A man transporting drugs from Ukraine was detained in Chisinau

In the capital, the police detained a man who illegally imported drugs worth 4.5 million lei from Ukraine at black market prices.

The 28-year-old man was followed for several months, establishing the alleged location of the potion, as well as methods of selling it. Among the items seized were mephedrone, ecstasy, hashish and marijuana, reports infotag.md

There is already a criminal case against the detained citizen in the Buiucan court for his arrest in February with a batch of synthetic drugs worth 5.5 million lei.

However, the case has not yet been considered by the court, and the accused remains at large.
