Police caught a teenager with drugs worth more than 1 million lei

A 16-year-old teenager from the north of the country was caught in the capital with a kilogram of hashish while putting drugs into hiding places for other couriers.

Law enforcement officers found other types of drugs in the apartment he rented. The total value of the drugs found on the black market exceeds one million lei, reports ipn.md

According to the Organized Crime and Special Prosecutor’s Office, the hashish was to be picked up by other couriers to be divided into portions and distributed to clients. In the apartment, rented on the instructions of the leader of the criminal group, a large quantity of cannabis buds, the synthetic drug PVP (“salt”) and mephedrone, as well as bags for storing drugs for sale and small scales were found.

The teenager came to the capital every 10 days to receive wholesale quantities of drugs. Then he took a taxi to the regions of Moldova, where he placed 30 doses in each cache, so that other couriers would then pick them up and give them to clients.

After his arrest, the teenager was placed under house arrest for 30 days.
