Members of the Supreme Council of Prosecutors held a meeting

On Thursday, April 18, a meeting of the Supreme Council of Prosecutors (SCP) was held. There were several issues on the agenda, including the order of the acting Prosecutor General on the temporary appointment of the chief prosecutor of the Briceni District Prosecutor’s Office.

The prosecutor of the territorial prosecutor’s office of Gagauzia, Nikolai Levandovski, has been appointed to the position of prosecutor with teaching activities, Noi.md reports with reference to zdg.md.

The Commission found that the conditions necessary to apply for the position of prosecutor were met by the candidates registered in the competition announced by the decision of the Commission of January 11, 2024, graduates of INJ. The competition was completed by: Svestal Tatiana, Genu Cristian, Mihalas Ion, Panfil Nikolai, Osoianu Nicu, Jordan Cristian, Malkoci Rozalia, Prepelice Cristian, Cebotari Doina, Lungu Cristina and Stich Ion.

Tatiana Russu, a prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases, was appointed acting chief prosecutor of the Briceni District Prosecutor’s Office.

Tatiana Russu has been working in the prosecutor’s office system since 2008, when she was hired as a prosecutor in the Briceni district prosecutor’s office. In 2016, she was appointed to the position of Attorney for the PCCOCS Northern Division.

Chairman of the Supreme Court of Justice Dmitry Obade announced that the competition for the selection of inspectors for the Inspectorate of Prosecutors did not take place. The candidates scored the following points: Anatoly Galben – 5.12 Gennady Guretsan – 4.62

At the same time, it was decided to postpone the assessment of the suitability of candidates for the position of prosecutor registered in several competitions.
