During the press conference, the head of state answered a question about justice reform in our country and whether some events that occur in the context of prosecutors’ assessments within the Prevetting Commission will affect the process of European integration, noi.md reports.
“Judicial reform is the most important in the process of European integration. Not everyone in the judiciary is happy with the cleanup process under the emergency external review process.
We need to remove toxic people from the system and promote honest people. This assessment takes time, but we all see that corrupt people are being eliminated from the system. Next year, I think we will complete this process. We have no alternative, we are learning, adjusting where necessary, and moving forward,” said the head of state.
