The 112 emergency call service will be managed by the Ministry of Home Affairs

October 18, Chisinau – Response time to emergency calls will be reduced, and specialized services will intervene more quickly to help citizens. In this regard, the Government approved the transfer of the Public Institution “National Single Service for Emergency Calls 112” from the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As the institution that administers emergency intervention services, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will ensure the proper functioning of the Public Institution and will also exercise the capacity of founder.

We remind you that the call to number 112 is free. Citizens can request specialized intervention 24 hours a day, from any landline or mobile phone in the Republic of Moldova and the entire European Union.
