“Branches” sold for 500 lei: premier requested a detailed analysis of timber sales
The prime minister gave the Environment Ministry until Friday to submit the report. Earlier, the prime minister said that during one of his working trips, he discovered facts of corruption.
“I was travelling on a working visit. I was passing by Plaiul Fagului, and there I got a surprise: I saw a car full of firewood called branches. And when I looked in the registers, the load was sold for 500 lei. So, by Friday, I want from the Environment Ministry a very clear analysis of everything that happened in the last six months in terms of wood supplies from Moldsilva,” Recean said, tv8.md reported
The prime minister did not provide additional details, including the amount of wood in question.
