ARBI issued seizure orders on 6 cars, including a Ferrari, a Mercedes-Benz and a Can Am Maverick X3, last week
The Agency for the Recovery of Criminal Assets (ARBI) of the CNA issued seizure orders, based on the delegations of the Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS) and the General Territorial Directorate North of the CNA, on goods worth over 6.6 million lei, last week. Among them are a residential room and 6 means of transport. More precisely, it is a Mercedes-Benz (year of manufacture 2018), a Ferrari (year of manufacture 2016), an Audi S3 (year of manufacture 2016), a Toyota Prius (year of manufacture 2021), a Can Am Maverick X3 (year of manufacture 2017) and a Renault Megane (year of manufacture 2016).
At the moment, ARBI has under examination 101 delegations, on 72 criminal cases, regarding 143 subjects.
Also, the General Directorate of Operative Insurance conducted 12 judicial expertises, of which 5 forensic and 7 IT, with another 52 expertises in the process. The criminal investigation officers proposed 7 criminal cases for prosecution. At the moment, the criminal investigation body of the CNA manages 414 files.
The legislation department received 35 draft normative acts for expertise and delivered 16 expert reports and 7 opinions to the authors. At the moment, we are working on 48 materials, received from the authorities.
The analytical department carried out 4 operational analyses, another 102 studies are in the process, and the professional integrity testing department issued 106 integrity records.
The anti-corruption education department carried out 13 information and awareness activities regarding the risks and consequences of involvement in acts of corruption for employees of the Intelligence and Security Service, the Customs Service, the General Police Inspectorate and the Moldovan Railway.
The national anti-corruption line received 22 calls. At the same time, 1466 materials were registered in the Center’s chancellery.
There are 5 people in prisons, arrested in the CNA files.
