ARBI issued seizure orders on goods worth 4.5 million lei and took another 11 million lei into administration

The Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (ARBI) of the CNA has issued seizure orders on assets worth 4.5 million lei based on a delegation of the Centre’s prosecution officers. Also, last week, the Agency took over financial means in foreign currency, equivalent to 11 million lei.

Currently ARBI has 107 delegations in execution on 75 criminal cases regarding 154 subjects with status. During the reporting period, the Agency evaluated 35 buildings and 4 movable assets.

On the anti-corruption component, the criminal investigation officers sent 4 criminal files to the prosecutors with a proposal to refer them to court. 9 judicial expertises were carried out, 26 anti-corruption expert reports, 9 advisory opinions and 2 operational analyzes were initiated.

Six trainings were organized by the officers of the anti-corruption education Directorate, another 9 being planned. 164 integrity records were issued, and 32 phone calls were received at the national anti-corruption hotline.

1412 materials were registered in the CNA chancellery, there is a detained person in the detention center.
