The head of the capital’s kindergarten was detained by the National Anti-Corruption Center
The head of kindergarten No. 32 in the capital’s Chekany sector was detained by employees of the National Anti-Corruption Center (NAC) and placed in the NAC pre-trial detention center for 72 hours.
She is a suspect in a corruption case. The information was confirmed by NAC press secretary Angela Starinsky.
This happens 8 years after a message appeared in which one of the parents said that the head of the kindergarten was collecting and managing illegal funds and intimidating parents, noi.md reports with reference to anticoruptie.md
The woman was referring specifically to the director of kindergarten No. 32, who “right at the entrance to the kindergarten demands 2,500 lei from each child, which, according to her, is intended “to solve the general problems of the institution.”
The operation to detain the manager was carried out on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 28, and the basis for the actions of the NAC were numerous complaints from parents.
“The manager was detained for 72 hours and placed in the NAC detention center. She is a suspect in a corruption case related to collecting funds from parents,” said Angela Starinsky.
The NAC reported that they will provide more detailed information in the near future. The parents’ statement is also confirmed by video recordings, the spokeswoman for the institution added.
