Details of the discovery of Anna’s body: found in a hole near the suspect’s house
The body of a 19-year-old girl who disappeared in Orhei was found by a group of police from Chisinau near the village of Stari Kitcani, where the main suspect is from.
The head of the State Inspectorate, Viorel Cernautanu, told reporters that the body was found with difficulty near a stream. They threw him into a hole, then covered him with branches, reports tv8.md
At the moment, the scene of the incident is being examined by forensic scientists and forensic experts. The police cannot name the preliminary cause of death; more detailed information will be provided after receiving the results of the examination.
The head of the National Police also said that it was decided to intensify the search in Starye Kitskany after a group of experts analyzed video from surveillance cameras. Hundreds of police officers, volunteers and local residents searched for the girl for eight days.
