Police commented on new threats against several schools
Several schools in the country again began to receive messages with threats and weapons from an anonymous Telegram channel.
In a conversation with a stiri.md correspondent, the head of the communications department of the State Inspectorate, Diana Fetko, stated that law enforcement officers are aware of these messages.
“This is the same form of hybrid attack and creating panic in society as in other cases. At the moment, we are establishing all the circumstances, including the administrators of the Telegram application have been notified of the blocking of these accounts,” Fetko said.
Let us recall that also in December 2023, images of several types of weapons and a message with threats against children studying in educational institutions in Chisinau appeared on an anonymous Telegram channel.
The channel even called for opening fire in schools. Then the police qualified these actions as a hybrid attack aimed at creating panic in society. Later, the Ministry of Education and Science also responded to this topic.
Representatives of the ministry then stated that they had blocked this channel, which was intended to destabilize the situation and sow panic in society.
