In Moldova, the fine for noisy repairs on weekends will be from 1,500 to 4,500 lei

Noisy construction work will be prohibited in residential buildings on Sundays and public holidays, and from Monday to Saturday from 20:00 to 8:00.

The fine for noisy repairs on weekends will range from 1,500 to 4,500 lei.

Fines for violating these provisions will amount to up to 1,500 lei for individuals and up to 4,500 lei for legal entities. The draft amendment to the housing law was adopted by parliament in the second reading, reports tv8.md

At the same time, when renovating premises, it is prohibited to reconstruct gas supply systems by installing gas-consuming equipment in premises other than the kitchen or heat-generating premises.

It will also be prohibited to carry out thermal insulation work and change the color of the facade on buildings without a building permit if they face boulevards and streets, on buildings with the status of monuments, on buildings in protected zones, with the exception of exterior finishing work that does not change facade elements and color decisions.
