Albu and Karp exchanged remarks: the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was not summoned to parliament

The Bloc of Communists and Socialists (BCS) on Thursday proposed to hear Interior Minister Adrian Efros, but the parliamentary majority did not support the idea.

The BCS proposal was voiced by socialist Adrian Albu, reports infotag.md

“More and more news and videos are appearing in the information space that representatives of law enforcement agencies of other countries are present on the territory of Moldova. This raises questions among citizens.

We have already seen a statement by one of them that there is an exchange of information here. Of course, the exchange of experience is normal… But there are a lot of suspicions, so we ask you to support the initiative – to listen to Minister Adrian Efros in order to sort everything out point by point and show citizens that Moldova is not preparing for an armed conflict…” Albu said.

The situation was clarified by the Chairman of the Security and Defense Commission, Lilian Karp, who said that a seminar was being held in Ungheni, organized by the Border Police together with the Frontex mission. It is dedicated to combating the trafficking of weapons and explosives. Representatives of the customs and police of Ukraine also participate in it.

“Because we have a common border. Don’t forget that there is a war in Ukraine… I understand that some are trying to intimidate with “little green men.” “Little green men” were in Crimea, Donbass. In Moldova, a process of preparation is taking place to resist consequences of the war in Ukraine started by Russia,” Karp said.
